INTRODUCTION WOKDERM CREAM is a combination of Clobetasol, Miconazole and Neomycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids, Antifungals and Antibiotics. It is used to treat resistant dermatoses (skin infections) with secondary bacterial or fungal infection. WOKDERM CREAM is not recommended for use in patients with rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, perianal and genital pruritus, viral infections (ex. herpes simplex, chickenpox) and perforated eardrum. Contact your doctor before applying. WOKDERM CREAM should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease. Contact your doctor before applying. WOKDERM CREAM is generally not recommended for use in pregnancy unless considered clearly necessary. WOKDERM CREAM should be used with caution in breastfeeding women as it is not known whether it may pass through the breast milk. Contact your doctor before applying. WOKDERM CREAM is not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age and should be used with caution in children above 2 years of age. Contact your doctor before applying. USES OF WOKDERM CREAM Treats resistant dermatoses (skin infections) with secondary bacterial or fungal infection HOW WOKDERM CREAM WORKS WOKDERM CREAM helps to treat infection, where Clobetasol have anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties, which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Miconazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi while Neomycin is an antibiotic which stops the growth of bacteria in the skin. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Apply WOKDERM CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands with soap and water and apply a thin layer of the medicine to the affected area of the skin and rub it gently. Avoid contact with eyes, face, groin or in the skin folds. Do not scratch the affected area. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors. Regularly use unscented moisturizers to soothe and hydrate the affected area. Drug-Drug interactions: Tell your doctor if you are taking, Ritonavir (medicines used for HIV infections) Itraconazole (medicines used for fungal infections) Aminoglycosides like amikacin, gentamicin (medicines used for bacterial infections) Neuromuscular blocking agents like atracurium, pancuronium (medicines used in anaesthesia) Warfarin (medicines used to treat or prevent blood clots) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally use too much of WOKDERM CREAM, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdosage are skin irritation, Hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal (HPA) axis suppression, cushingoid features (Ex. moon face, central obesity), ear damage and kidney damage may occur.
